Cloud-Inspired Ceiling Sculpture

Here's a graphic rendering of one of the next projects in our queue:

It's a cloud-inspired ceiling sculpture that will hang in the skylight and atrium of a North Carolina hospital. The entire piece will hang 18 feet wide by 12 feet deep by 12 feet tall. It will be made of steel tubing frames covered by sheer fabric, similar to White Ribbons and Towering Sails. Stay tuned to see progress!

New Hampshire Hospital Mobile

In April, we mentioned a 25-foot tall mobile we made for a new hospital in New Hampshire. Our client recently sent images of the mobile being installed and fully hanging. We didn't install this particular piece, so it's fun to see someone else do all the work!

Check out our Pterodactyl Mobile in Person!

The Museum at Prairie Fire has been open for business a few weeks now. If you're in the Kansas City area, be sure to pop in to check out our Pterodactyl mobiles in the lobby! We hear the rest of the museum is pretty awesome, too. (World's largest dinosaur exhibit. Need we say more?)

New Website!

Back in January, the behind-the-scenes gal around here resolved to update the Ekko Mobiles website. By the end of June, so she could blissfully enter summer without that big website project hanging overhead.

Well it's June 27, and our new site is live, three days ahead of schedule. We've added tons of beautiful high quality images, so be sure to check out our totally revamped gallery. Happy browsing, and more importantly, happy summer!

SemiSwing Triptych

A couple of years ago, we installed a large 12-foot wide mobile in the modern lobby of an affordable housing facility in San Jose. And we just got our hands on the most beautiful professional images of the place!

Where the Wind Comes Sweepin' Down the Plain

In January we mentioned the Oklahoma-themed ceiling sculptures we had been commissioned to create for an Oklahoma City-based elementary school. We just returned from installing the pieces, and we hope the kids enjoy them!

Project in Paradise

We're doing a project for a resort in Hawaii, and we recently returned from a site visit. With all due respect to every other project we've ever completed, this might be our favorite locale yet.

Now accepting any and all projects in tropical locations!

Prairie Fire Museum

Matt and Ben just completed installing the Pterodactyl Mobile at the brand-new Museum of Prariefire in Kansas City. The guys enjoyed getting a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the museum and its awesome dinosaur exhibit. If you're in the area, go!
