PBS Mobile Rendering

Here’s a fun mobile we’re creating for a PBS station in Midland, Texas. They’re converting an old movie theater into offices, and this mobile will hang over the staircase. We can’t wait to see how it looks in the space!

Akron Beacon Journal Article

Our clients with Revere High School forwarded us this article from the Akron Beacon Journal about the ribbon cutting of the brand-new new high school—including a great image of our mobile!

Costa Rica Residence Fish Mobile

Here’s a fun project in our queue for a private residence on the coast of Costa Rica. It will span 22 feet long by two feet wide. The fish will be an opal white acrylic, which should create a lovely glow below the hallway lights. While working on this project, we’ll be sure to spend plenty of time daydreaming about life in Coast Rica. Pura vida!

Iowa Residence Mobile Installation

The second stop on Matt and Ben’s double-header installation was Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where they installed a mobile in a private residence.

This just might have been our most patient client ever. We started the design process for this family late last year. The mobile was completed and ready for installation right as the country shut down, and the client waited patiently until all parties felt safe with the idea of travel and installation.

Anyhow, the installation went smoothly. The client’s home is amazing. And we are thrilled to finally have this project finished up.

Ohio High School Mobile

Here’s the final mobile we installed for Revere High School in Richfield, Ohio. The entire piece incorporates 150 individual mobiles and span the massive hallway of the newly completed school. It’s hard to capture a piece this size on an iPhone (while the facility is still under construction!), but here’s our best effort. We hope the students and factually are able to enjoy the new school and mobile in person sooner than later!

Non-Work Work

Matt has been working like crazy to finish up a few projects that need to be installed soon. Once the crates shipped to their installation sites, Matt took a break to visit family in Utah. His sister enlisted him (thanks to his ability to do basically anything) to help install hammocks at her cabin. Such a productive vacation!

Butterfly Mobile Progress

We’re putting the final touches on the mobiles headed to the Miami-based pediatric medical facility. Here are some pictures of the butterfly shapes and parts of the mobile hanging in our shop. (Don’t worry, it’ll look a thousand times better in the lobby where it will reside!)

Miami Butterfly Mobile Renderings

We’ve been working on a fun project for the newly renovated lobby of Miami-based pediatric medical facility. It includes two groups of mobiles. One section will feature a chandelier-like mobile made of streamlined tubes. The second section will be a series of butterfly mobiles that spans a long hallway.

We’re making major headway on this right now, so stay tuned for progress pictures!
