Have you checked out the November DWR catalog?
Dirty Little Secret
Matt and Ben just returned from the install in Dallas. They're always eager to visit Texas, which may have something to do with this.
And here's a well-fed Matt, overseeing the installation.
Panels
Here are the panels, fresh from the powder coater, that we'll be using for the Gateway Church mobile. (See August 4)
DWR Catalog
Check out our debut on Design Within Reach's website! (Scroll down a bit to find our Tabletop Mobile and Large White Mobile.)
News!
Whew, what a week! First, Ben completed the install in Pennsylvania. Torrential downpours aside, the installation went smoothly and the mobile works so well in its recessed ceiling:
Plus, the Design Within Reach mobiles shipped Friday. We're especially excited that one of the designs will even be showcased at every single DWR location! We are thrilled and honored our mobiles will be featured alongside pieces from such a talented group of artists and designers.
And last but not least, Matt was able to take (a little) time off for the birth of his baby boy!
The Shop
In this picture, Matt is getting ready to package up the mobile for the orthopedic clinic in Pennsylvania (See August 13). Ben will head out for the installation next week. Also in this picture: a bunch of parts for the Design Within Reach, a rough sketch for another project, and general (controlled) chaos!
Production
We're working like mad this month to provide an exclusive line of mobiles to Design Within Reach. Here's a sneak peek at our production line:
Ekko at DWR
Be sure to check out page 52 in the August Design Within Reach catalog. Yes, that mobile behind the Reid sofa and Eames elephant is ours!
Mobile at Home
If you scroll back to May 26, you'll see a mobile we commissioned for a private residence in California. We just received photos of our mobile installed in the very lovely home!
Chande-Mobile
And yet another project in our queue: This will be a 12-foot tall by 8-foot wide chandelier-like mobile made of more than 300 individual dangling pieces. It will hang from the stairwell of a St. Louis-based law firm.
