Back in September we sent off a mobile to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Cincinnati, and the kind folks at St. Elizabeth's recently sent along these images of the newly installed mobile.
The blue sky makes such a nice backdrop!
My goodness, the November Design Within Reach catalog is as stunning as ever. (Fall leaves, a vintage station wagon, and the Egg Chair, all on one perfectly styled cover!? Amazing.)
Oh, and we're especially loving page 26.
Check out our Standing Circles Mobile in Architectural Digest's December issue!
Next up on our Iowa for Ekko tour: Cedar Rapids, home of Raining Rose, an organic lip-balm company. We installed an 18-foot-tall mobile in the lobby of their new (stunning) corporate headquarters. This particular installation was fantastic in every way possible: hanging the mobile went smoothly, the tour of the facility was fascinating, and the Raining Rose souvenirs we were received by the lip-balm addicts back home.

First stop on the double-header installation trip last week: Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
The 16-foot-tall mobile was installed in the college's student union center.
A good-sized crowed gathered to watch the installation. Which sure worked out nicely for the Iowa for Obama rally held shortly thereafter.
Ok, so the students may have been more enamored with the rally spokesman Justin Long (former "I'm a Mac" guy) than our mobile, but we did catch Justin looking enamored with the mobile.
Here's the newest tabletop mobile design, now available at Design Within Reach!
Somehow we ended up with two separate projects in Iowa that both needed October installations. So Matt and Ben headed out this week for a double-header install.
Here's Matt installing the first mobile in the lobby of Simpson College's student center.
Tomorrow, Matt and Ben head to Cedar Rapids to install the second mobile in the new corporate headquarters of Raining Rose, an organic lip-balm manufacturer.
Slowly (very slowly), but surely, we are making progress on our Ekko Workshop Mobiles, a new line of designs that will be available for the masses. One of these days, we'll have images and a catalog to share. But for now, we'll just tease you with these color samples.
Look what has a fresh coat of paint!
Up next: product testing. In Matt's living room. Up against two active ragamuffins.
Whew, we're up to our necks in commissions right now! Two particular projects are requiring some serious metal bending, which ends up being a decent strength workout for Matt and Ben. Here's evidence of their hard work.
Evidence not pictured: massive biceps.
