We're doing a project for a resort in Hawaii, and we recently returned from a site visit. With all due respect to every other project we've ever completed, this might be our favorite locale yet.

Matt and Ben just completed installing the Pterodactyl Mobile at the brand-new Museum of Prariefire in Kansas City. The guys enjoyed getting a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the museum and its awesome dinosaur exhibit. If you're in the area, go!
The mobile we made for the New Hampshire hospital is ready for its 3,000 mile cross-country journey. To ensure safe travels, each ring is wrapped in foam padding, and the shapes are bundled together and secured together and protected with bubble wrap. It may not be a glamorous way to travel, but it should be effective!
Right now, we're working on mobile for a hospital in New Hampshire. This mobile will hangs 25 feet tall and 6 feet wide and will incorporate 275 polished circular shapes, distributed among three tiers. Ok, let's be honest, it's more of a chandelier than a mobile!
About 18 months ago, we provided 7 sleek white mobiles to a new Las Vegas restaurant: Andrea's at the Encore Resort at Wynn Las Vegas. The mobiles were designed to hang above alcove dining booths, surrounded by beautiful lighting.
We never saw photos of the final space until just recently. Turns out, the interior design firm we worked with, TAL Studio, received an award for their work on the restaurant! Scroll through the images to check out the amazing space—and to see more photos of our mobiles!
In a few weeks, we head to Kansas to install this Pterodactyl Mobile at the new Museum of Prariefire. We've nailed down most of the details and acquired/created most of the materials we'll need. Another company is creating the dinosaurs, but here are a few of the mobile's other components:
The motor

Here's a snapshot of the mobile we recently completed for a private residence in Florida. All the shapes, movement, and color make it seem like a thick forest of mobiles.
Remember those mobiles we're creating for the elementary school in Oklahoma City? Well our clients came across some walls that need artwork, so we're also creating wall murals to go along with the rain-inspired theme. The murals will be made of acrylic shapes, and each one will hang 10 feet wide by 5 feet tall.
We are putting some finishing touches on a fun mobile that posed a bit of a design challenge. The fellow who commissioned it wanted a mobile to hang in the main room of this Jacksonville, Florida home. The space the mobile will fill is wide, but not very tall. Normally when we're making a wide, short mobile, we default to horizontal shapes (like this and this), but our client requested we incorporate vertical shapes and create something with a lot of visual interest and complexity.
The only way to meet the size and shape constraints was to create a mobile that used many smaller elements. After several brainstorming sessions, we developed a mobile that consists of several individual mobiles that work together to create a larger overall form. The entire mobile spans 13 feet and hangs 3 feet tall. Each individual mobile will have its own look, feel, and color, and overall piece will move freely.
