Our friend Jenny at Guggenheim Architecture and Design Studio came across our Ekko Workshop Standing Circles Desktop Mobile in her latest issue of American Institute of Architects Magazine. What a fun surprise!

Large Custom Hanging Mobile for Cincinnati Medical Office
Here's one of the projects we're focused on right now:
We're making this large custom mobile for a Cincinnati-based hospital. It will hang 25 feet tall and 10 feet in diameter, with 54 brightly colored aluminum discs. We're scheduled to install it next week, so stay tuned for photos of the process!

Laser Cutter Tinkering
Yesterday, we got training on how to use the new laser cutter. And late last night, Ben sent this text with some laser-cutter tinkering, "Ok maybe I should have gone home, but this is too much fun."

Lighting Mobile Complete!
So keep in mind that this picture was snapped from an iPhone in our dark studio, so it's not the greatest quality. But still—LOOK! Our lighting mobile is complete!
Ah, but the work isn't done yet. We need to get it all packaged up for its cross-country trek, which is no easy feat for a piece with components this large. But we love a good challenge, so back to work!

We talked for awhile now about investing in something like this, and we finally did it! We have big plans to develop awesome new Ekko Workshop products using it...once we learn to actually use it!
