Here’s a mobile we made for a San Diego-based business. We’re liking the mix of metal and wood they opted to go with.
Wells Fargo Center Hanging Mobile: Complete!
Wells Fargo Center Mobile Installation
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the staging that occurs BEFORE we install a mobile. After 15 of installing mobiles together, Matt and Ben have a dialed in system to make the process go as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They’re currently in Minneapolis to install the series of hanging mobiles for the Wells Fargo Center office building.

Wells Fargo Center Mobile Materials
Here’s a pile of shapes we’re prepping for the Wells Fargo Center lobby mobile. Installation is just a few weeks away! We’re excited to see this come together!
Wells Fargo Center Hanging Mobile
Here’s a project we’re focused on right now, a series of hanging mobiles that will span the entry lobby of the newly renovated Wells Fargo Center office building in Minneapolis. This is variation of our Prefab #3 Mobile with different, more substantial shapes. The client requested a canopy feel for the space, so this will span 15 feet across the lobby. Stay tuned for updates!
Windmill Mobile Prototype
Although the windmill-inspired mobile is a ways off, we’ve started tinkering with prototypes to share with the client. Here’s a sneak peek at an initial stab!
Windmill-Inspired Hospital Mobile
Here’s a fun project slated for 2023. This series of hanging mobiles will reside in the lobby of a Lubbock hospital. Lubbock is home to the American Windmill Museum, and the region has a strong history windmills, so the client asked to to incorporate abstract windmill-inspired elements into our design.
The final design will incorporate about 30 individual mobiles featuring windmill-inspired blades. Each mobile spans about 6 feet, and they will be strung together to evoke a feeling of flow and rotation.
Portland Modern Home Installation
We completed two installations last week! The one hangs in the stairwell of a private residence just ten minutes from our shop space. It was designed to take full advantage of the skylight above, so the mix of materials—transluscent acrylic, stainless steel, and brass—create an interesting, colorful effect on the surroundings. The piece hangs about 10 feet tall by 7 feet wide. The client sent the kindest email the next day: “Everyone just loved this beautiful piece of work you’ve created. Couldn’t be happier;) Simply stunning!”
