Friends. We’re moving! We’ll share details and the story soon, but meanwhile, excuse us while we spend the next few weeks packing up and moving 15 years of mobile making.

Good news is that the new shop space is only a few blocks away. Bad news is that even short-distance moves still take so much work!

Kites Ceiling Sculpture Fabrication

We’re in the fabrication phase of the kites ceiling sculpture. We heat-formed the shapes using these curved forms and a massive makeshift oven Matt created in the shop. The bottom picture shows how they’ll travel, all nestled together safely on their curved forms.

AllModern Flagship Store Mobile

The brand-new AllModern brick-and-mortar flagship store is officially open. If you’re in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, check out the store (and our mobile)! We’re loving this photo of the stunning space.

AllModern Mobile Installation

Mobile installations in three simple steps:

  1. Pack everything up safely. (Bonus points if you can bring it on your flight!)

  2. Stage everything onsite.

  3. Make sure the mobile hangs high enough that your average Joe (or Ben) can’t mess with it.

  4. Voila! Enjoy!

I mean, a few extra things happen between all those steps. But all said, this installation went smoothly, and our client was happy with the turnout! Rumor has it, they might need more mobiles for additional stores… Stay tuned!
