We've got a crazy-busy summer ahead. Here's one of the projects in our queue. It's a 42 foot tall mobile made of fabric stretched over metal frames (kind of like our White Ribbons project from many moons ago). Se'll try to squeeze in time to share updates, so stay tuned!
Mixed-Material Hanging Mobile
If you tilt your head, squint your eyes, and look past the clutter and white board notes and random cords hanging from the ceiling, you can see how nicely this mixed-material mobile turned out. We loved putting the laser cutter to work on this project!
Children's Garden Outdoor Kinetic Sculpture
If you have a tiny moment to spare, check out this seven-second video of our outdoor kinetic sculpture in motion, along with joyful noises of children in Flagstaff's brand-new Children's Garden.
The landscape designer we worked with sent the kindest e-mail, saying "They're awesome and work spectacularly!" Shucks. We're just grateful we had the opportunity to play a role in this wonderful project.
Logo Mobile Intallation
Matt traveled to Virginia last week to install the logo mobile. Isn't she lovely?
Wood Mobile Shapes
Here's a sneak peek at the wood shapes we laser cut ourselves for the mixed-material mobile we're making for the Denver apartment building.
Logo Mobile Progress
Matt has been major headway on the logo mobile. Check out some behind-the-scenes pictures of the fabrication process.
Logo Mobile in the Queue
Here's a fun mobile in our queue. It's a custom hanging mobile for a corporate office in Virginia. The mobile will hang in the lobby over a staircase. The design incorporates the company's logo. We can't wait to see this one installed!
Fabrication Time!
We're eyeballs deep in the fabrication stage of our outdoor kinetic sculpture. Here's Matt, getting it done!

Custom Hanging Mobile for Denver Apartment Building
Here's a rendering for a custom mobile in our project queue. It will hang about 7 feet tall by 5 feet wide, and we're excited that it will incorporate a fun mix of materials—powder-coated aluminum AND laser-cut walnut shapes.
Wall and Ceiling Sculpture Materials
Look—materials! We just got these huge, colorful from the powder coater. They're the shapes that will create the wall and ceiling sculpture we're making for a local housing complex.
