Here’s a fun version of our Pre-fab Mobile #3. We’re creating this one for a medical facility in Texas. We love seeing how versatile this design is shaping up to be!
Here’s the wood mobile in its final home. As we’ve mentioned, our contract prohibits us from sharing many details about the project, but we CAN say that Matt and Ben’s wives are begging to come see it in person someday.
Matt and Ben are traveling to a fun destination next week to install this mobile. Full disclosure: the picture below was actually taken last fall. Since then, the mobile has been painted and packed up and stashed in storage, waiting patiently for the space to be ready for artwork. The time has finally come, and we’re so eager to see the final piece in its final (gorgeous) home!
Remember that orchard-inspired mobile we were creating for a local affordable housing development? It’s installed! Installing projects here in Portland is always a treat, and we’re happy to nstallation went seamlessly. Check out the final photos. (Be sure to note the cool leaf-shaped shadows cast on the ceiling!)
When it rains, it pours—and we’re more totally happy about that. Here are pictures we received recently of ANOTHER completed mobile. This one hangs in a bank in upstate New York, and it looks waaaay better there than in our shop.
Hey! More pictures of completed mobiles! Here’s the skylight ceiling sculpture we shipped a few weeks ago. We love how it looks below that skylight, and we looooove those colorful shadows it casts on the wall.
You know we love seeing pictures of our mobiles hanging in their final homes, so we were thrilled to get pictures of this mobile we designed for a private residence in Maryland.
And we were even more thrilled to get this e-mail from the client: “This is so overwhelmingly beautiful—much better than I ever imagined. This is truly a treasured work of art. Thank you.”
Ok, our day is 100% made.
Here’s another project in our queue. This is the overhead view of a flowing Pre-Fab #3 Mobile that will hang over the staircase of a medical building. This entire piece will include 65 individual mobiles strung together down the staircase. It was designed to complement other artwork in the area, and the orange pieces represent koi fish. We can’t wait to see it come together!
Here ya go, another shot of a completed mobile in our shop. This one will hang under the lobby skylight of a North Carolina office building. It includes 200 translucent acrylic shapes, which, when the sun shines through the skylight, will create colorful shadows below!
