We just sent this Standing Circles Mobile to a private residence in North Carolina. It stands 4.5 feet tall with a 3-foot rotational sweep. It’s pictured here in a dingy corner of our shop, but it will reside outdoors at the front entrance to our client’s home. We love the challenge of building outdoor sculptures—we need to beef up the components to withstand the elements without making them look too beefy. We think it worked out nicely!
Butterfly Hopsital Corridor
We’re up to our eyeballs in butterflies right now, and it’s delightful! We’re working on a wall sculpture for a hospital corridor in Orlando that will feature butterflies of different styles and sizes. Here a behind-the-scenes peek at the butterfly renderings, butterfly cutouts, and some of the powder-coated butterfly shapes.
Olá Brazil Mobile!
Awhile back, we made a hanging mobile for a client who was building a house in Brazil. Well the house is finally complete and the mobile is finally installed, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to receive these pictures!
Lo-fi Sketch
Sometimes an old-school hand-drawn sketch just hits right. (In related news, coming soon: an outdoor standing circles mobile for a private residence.)
Children's Hospital of Georgia Hanging Mobile
We just finished installing this colorful hanging mobile in the lobby of Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta. Seeing our sculptures reside in such beautiful spaces never gets old!
Retail Mobile Mock Up
We’re creating mock ups of a mobile that will hang in a bunch of retail stores this fall. Stay tuned!
HVAC Ceiling Sculpture Video
Last April, Matt and Ben installed an “exploded” HVAC system from the ceiling of a new client services building at AAON global headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We just stumbled across this video that documented the installation process. Enjoy!
Hanging Mobile En Route to Georgia
The powder-coated shapes for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia Mobile have arrived! We’re loving the client’s cheerful color selections. The mobile is safely packed up for its cross country journey. We’ll install in April.
Children's Hospital of Georgia Hanging Mobile
We’re making this fun mobile for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta. It will hang 20 feet wide by 16 feet tall. Below are shots of it hanging in the shop, and it’s being powder-coated in that very fun color scheme as we speak. We’ll install it in a few weeks, so stay tuned for final pictures!
Houston Hexagon Mobile Installation
Whew—Matt and Ben just finished installing Hexagon Mobiles! It was a logistical dance, but the the job done. It included four different 50-foot long mobiles hanging in four separate stairwells. We had trouble narrowing down which pictures to post, so we just dumped a lot into the gallery below. Enjoy!
