Ekko Workshop Update

It’s been a minute since we’ve mentioned Ekko Workshop, our ready-made line of desktop and hanging mobiles. Made entirely in Portland, Oregon and hand-assembled in our warehouse, we’re really proud that we’ve created high-quality mobiles that are thoughtfully designed, precision crafted, and absolutely lovely to look at. You can check out the entire collection here.

California Respite Center Installation

Matt and Ben have been in the Bay area nstalling this tree canopy-inspired ceiling sculpture in a brand-new respite center for unhoused individuals. This project has been in the works for four years, so we’re thrilled to finally see it completed!

We love how the sculpture is visible from so many vantage points throughout the facility, including nurse’s stations on the second floor. We’re also happy with the natural light’s interaction with the shapes. We are truly honored to add a bit of calm and beauty to this important addition to the Alameda community.

Vive la France!

Matt just returned from a fun (and full!) spring break trip to France, where the fam did all the touristy things, ate all the delicious food, and delighted in all the little details—like the sparkling nighttime view of the Eiffel Tour, design elements at the Orsay Museum, the teenager-approved statue at the Louvre, the breathtaking afternoon light at Saint Chapelle, and watching the flow of traffic around the Arc du Triomphe (seriously, Matt could’ve watched for hours!).

Blue Threads Complete!

Here are pictures of the completed Blue Threads ceiling sculpture in the shop! (You might even spot some copper ribbons in the background of that top pictures…) The mobile is safely crafted and en route to New York. We can’t wait to see pictures of it installed!

Marine Life Animals!

Just got images of the marine animals we made for the Turks and Caicos Sandals Resort, and we’re LOVING them. We had trouble narrowing down which ones to post, so happy scrolling!

Red Thread Redux

Here’s a ceiling sculpture based on our Red Thread design. This will hang over the receptionist desk at a medical office in New York state. The sculpture will include five individual “thread” components intertwined to hang 8 feet wide by 8 feet deep by 4 feet tall. And to really mix things up, this one will be blue! Stay tuned for updates.

Marine Life Photo Shoot

Matt has LOVED working on the marine life animals for the Turks and Caicos Sandals Resort! It’s been a fun combination of artistry, problem solving, and hands-on technical skills—and he thrives when those worlds collide.

Alas, Matt’s abundant abilities do not include photography, so his wife recruited a friend to capture the creatures. (And the friend recruited Matt’s wife to be assistant for the morning. And Matt documented the whole thing.)

We can’t wait to see the final photos!
