Here's Part 2 of the two-part installations Matt and Ben completed last week in Florida. This butterfly sculpture resides in the pediatric ward of a Lakeland, Florida-based hospital. It was really fun for them to switch things up by designing, creating, and installing a non-mobile accent piece!
Fish Mobile Installation
It was quite the week for Matt and Ben! They spend nearly the whole week in Florida working their tails off with two installations for the same Lakeland-based hospital. Here are pictures of the Fish Mobile, which spans the hospital's entry corridor. We're happy to report that the installation went, ahem, swimmingly.

Butterfly Wall Sculpture Test
Matt and Ben are headed to Florida next week for two back-to-back installations at the same hospital. One of the installations will be a wall sculpture featuring a swarm of butterflies. Here's a a sample we created last month to test out the mounting method. Stay tuned for pictures of the final thing!
Ekko Workshop in San Diego!
Matt's wife spent a long weekend in San Diego—and she was thrilled to see Ekko Workshop front and center at the San Diego Museum of Art's gift shop!

We've added a few recent projects to the Gallery section of our website, so be sure to check then out!

Let There Be Light
Here's a little side project Matt created—a mobile-inspired light fixture for his family's recently remodeled kitchen. (Word has it the wife is thrilled.)
White River Mobile Cleaning
Matt and Ben just got back from their yearly trip to Batesville, Arkansas to clean and tune up the White River Mobile. Everything went smoothly, from the flights to the cleaning, hallelujah. And the mobile looks as good as ever!
Felt Leaves for Restaurant Ceiling Sculpture
Here's a peek at the material we'll be using for the restaurant ceiling sculpture in our queue. This thick wool felt was chosen intentionally to help absorb noise from the restaurant's busy bar area. We're huge fans of materials that are both beautiful and functional. The second picture shows the metal frame that we designed to give the leaves shapes structure, while adding a vein-like appearance.
Texas Apartment Mobiles Complete!
Finishing this project was our top priority last week!
Here are a few pictures of the piece hanging in our shop. The pictures aren't terribly glamorous—our shop is jam packed (aka cluttered) these days! The last few provide a peek into the efforts we take to ensure our mobiles travel safely. We can't wait to see the pair of mobiles hanging at their (more beautiful) destination!
